A | Yes, SIDTM has been designed to be able to operate independently of eFacility®.

Q5 | When I try to download a file, a new window briefly opens and then disappears and no file is downloaded. |
A1 | This is caused by a default security setting in Internet Explorer. www.eFacility.co.uk needs be treated as a Trusted Site.
To change the setting, select Tools > Internet Options > Security tab - Click the Sites button and add the following URL to the list of trusted sites:

A2 | If the restriction is still a problem, then you also need to check a security setting in related to Trusted Sites that may have been altered from the default setting.
From the Security tab - click the "Custom level.." button. Scroll down the list until you find the Downloads section and Setting: "Automatic prompting for file downloads". This should be set to "Enable".

Q6 | When I try to download a file, such as an Excel spreadsheet, the browser returns an error message. |
A | This is caused by a default security setting in Internet Explorer.
To change the setting, select Tools > Internet Options > Advanced tab > scroll down to the Security section and de-select
"Do not save encrypted pages to disk".
