Monitoring of Landfill Emissions

A council has a duty to monitor the emissions from a number of closed landfills within their care.
Monitoring is undertaken every month with the collection of both physical and gas measurements plus samples of water and leachate sent to a laboratory for analysis.
Once the analysis results are received back from the laboratory, the electronic data are loaded into eFacility®, reviewed, (corrected where necessary) and then published for use by other members of the project.
